Tip for the Workbench

Here is a dandy little tip for the work bench.

Always looking for a template and have to sort through a drawer or plastic box. I finally sat down one day and decided to organize my work bench. After I was finished with the tools and picking up all the scraps. I found I wasn’t satisfied with my current method of storing my cabochon templates. Later I had to take my son for a routine dental check up and noticed the magazines were stored neatly on the wall in plexi-glass holders. After the appointment I took a little trip to my local business office and purchased 3 magazine holders. When I returned home I went to the shop and held them up to the wall . What a great way to sort and store the templates to be readily accessible when I need them and to return them when finished. Just be sure you leave enough height for the templates to go in and out of the holder easily. The whole project cost me $18.94 and saves me untold time when planning cabochons. This is also an easy way to file your rough drafts of jewelry you are working on or customer orders, rather than a messy bulletin board.
